Ammar and Melanie's love story began when they began dating in 2010 while both attending McMaster University. They were friends for 2 years prior to their relationship. They ended up falling in love and began dating. In 2012 they moved in together while both pursuing second degrees at McMaster. Their Hamilton apartment was full of love and laughter (corny), and upon completing their degrees they both moved back in with their parents in 2015 while they looked for work. They both started working at Manulife in 2016 and moved in together again, this time in downtown Toronto. It has been a whole new experience and their personalities mesh so well, it feels like they have always been together. They recently purchased their first home, a condo in Etobicoke and will be moving there at the end of November 2018. They look forward to what their life together has in store.
Fun fact: Ammar proposed on Mel's birthday in 2017 using a recording made by personally for the couple by J-Roc (Jonathan Torrens). Any trailer park boys fans out there?
